POYC employs a divisional organizational structure wherein the decision are decentralized according to the specific work processes. Thus each section reports to its respective line manager who is entrusted with efficient and effective decision-making. When decisions are likely to impact the overall strategy, the Head of POYC is consulted and the matter may also be discussed in a focus group meeting to determine the appropriate course of action. This structure is deemed beneficial as it empowers employees, providing them with a sense of significance and ownership thereby solidifying loyalty and increase retention.
